It’s Easy to Learn About Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Maharaj’s Arrests for Rape — and Prakashanand Saraswarti’s Arrest and Conviction for Child Molestation — Just Google Them!
There was once a lot of information online about Kripalu Maharaj ji’s arrest in Trinidad and Tobago for raping a young woman. But it’s all gone now. I don’t know if Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat had a hand it getting the stories and hundreds of comments removed or if they were just old and deleted.
Luckily, I have preserved much of the information and have shared it on my blog and in my two books about Kripalu and his wicked organization. But here are a few links to information about him and his primary accomplice, Swami Prakashanand Saraswati. Saraswati was arrested for molesting two young girls who lived in his USA ashram. He was convicted on 20 counts of child sex abuse. But he escaped and was never jailed thanks to the help of over one dozen of his devotees.
Here’s What I Could Still Find Online
A legal document about Kripalu’s arrest in the early 1990s for raping two underage girls.
Here one of the many stories about Saraswati’s arrest and escape from justice.
I’m continually shocked by how willing some people are to shut their eyes to the truth — and just blindly accept that anyone wearing the garb of a religious person and claiming to be “spiritual” is given the opportunity to perpetuate their con game — and hurt others.
How spiritual is that?

Hello Rishika,
Is this so-called guru aka babaji "His Holiness Avdhoot Baba Shivanand Ji"
evil too.
Thanks.
Punditji,
This story exposes of of the psychological weaknesses of humans, and helps explain not only why they stay in cults, but also why they become corrupted too.
I have also witnessed ego as another factor that encourages such behavior.
Thank you for sharing this example.

A few years ago I was in Rishikesh and I met a Dutch lady, who introduced herself as Gayatri. She had gotten thoroughly disillusioned with gurus after her own guru seduced her. Initially she was ecstatic to have won the guru's grace but when reality dawned on her, she was ashamed of herself. She got consumed with a feeling of guilt but she found a very strange way to cope with her guilt. She did not walk out on her guru, but instead facilitated the seduction of other unsuspecting followers by the guru. It was a while before she realized what she was doing and she got disgusted with herself and she left her guru. She now follows writings, books and lectures of various holy men, but is determined to "never ever" get a live guru.
There is an old saying: you can take the horse to the river, but you cannot make it drink the water. There is more than ample evidence of wrongdoings in this organization, but for those who have been blinded by "devotion", no amount of persuasion will help.
Totally !
