I woke up in a sex cult and here's what I did.
I am the author of two books about my x-cult: Sex, Lies, and Two Hindu Gurus, and Sex God — The Secret Life of a Dark, Dark Guru.
The purpose of my books is two-fold. First, I want to share the dark secrets the India-based Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP) organization with its devotees and with spiritual seekers. Secondly, I want to share my cult experience with other seekers to warn them about another fake religious organization and fake gurus.
I’m also an archivist documenting the true history of JKP. My goal is to help pull back the false “spiritual” façade the organization has create and expose the lies and the real Ram Tripathi (aka, Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj) — the leader, spiritual con man, psychopath, and child rapist.
I am an advocate for the victims of my ex-cult and have been since 2007 — the year I discovered I was in a sex cult. I have supported every victim who has reached out to me and helped some of them tell their personal stories of abuse in JKP. I gave myself the name Rishika (the female form of rishi) because I felt I was doing more to help people spiritually than my fake gurus ever did.
Like many followers of my x-cult, I began my search for God innocently. When I found this organization, I dedicated myself fully to my ultimate pursuit — God realization. I lived for 14 years in its USA ashram. I lived as a celibate nun, fully renouncing the lifestyle of 30-year-old U.S. citizens. At the time, I believed the two gurus were saints.
Then I woke up one day in May 2007 and discovered I was in a cult. Not just any cult, but a wicked sex cult. Both of my gurus, Kripalu and Prakashanand Saraswati, were molesting female children and having consenting sex with scores of female followers.
Kripalu had a long-running “sex factory” that included multiple daily sessions with willing women and unwilling children.
After the shock wore off, I began telling the truth to the world and supporting JKP victims. It changed my life forever. I became a truth warrior, sharing everything I learned with others and helping JKP survivors tell their personal stories.
I hope and pray that people who are seeking a true spiritual path to God, steer clear of the fraudulent and abusive Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat organization. Please keep your dignity, money, and self-worth out of their greedy clutches.
