About the Books
To overcome the trauma of learning that my gurus were evil, I had to engage in years of therapy and research. During that time, I learned so much about bad people and the wicked games they play with sincere people’s lives. In hindsight, I have realized that if I knew then what I know now I likely would have never joined a religious cult. I decided to share what I’ve learned in a series of dictionaries with people who also want to leave cults, avoid cults, or understand why people they know are trapped in a cult.
Cult Therapy Dictionary (Book 1)
How do smart people get tricked into joining cults? That is one of the most asked questions by people who are not in cults. My first Cult Therapy Dictionary will address this issue head on. It provides detailed explanations of the leading tricks that gurus and psychopaths use to lure people into their clutches, then manipulate them to do exactly what the guru wants them to do. Book 1 in the Cult Therapy Dictionary series provides interesting and insightful explanations of psychopath and guru manipulation tactics. Examples include fantasy weaving, pseudo love, psychic numbing, reality distortion, and more. The information in this book is designed to help awaken seekers and others to the many tactics deployed by the psychologically malevolent among us. Be forewarned. Be forearmed.
The Cult Therapy Dictionary Five-Part Series
Originally, my idea for a Cult Therapy Dictionary was to create just one book with multiple categories of terms. Then I thought it could become too confusing and not as powerful as I hoped. I realized that creating a series of dictionaries, each focusing on its own category, would help give each critical topic a better chance of educating people and helping them achieve an important goal — arming themselves with the psychology of cults and cult leaders, so they can avoid them. This ongoing dictionary series will include these five topics:
